Sen. Rand Paul and Dr. Anthony Fauci Clash Again in Senate Hearing

Dr. Anthony Fauci and Sen. Rand Paul entered into a heated exchange over Fauci’s record during the pandemic at a Senate health committee hearing on Tuesday. Paul, a Kentucky Republican, charged Fauci with conspiring with fellow federal health officials such as former National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins to quash opinions from scientists that differ from the administration’s strategy for fighting the pandemic.
