“A Quantum World” by Restive Sage – 12.23.22

Entry Submitted by Restive Sage at 2:04 PM ET on December 23, 2022 I remember back about 10 years when I began to first hear about “quantum” computers. Being quite the layman, my first reaction was that this was just another fiction bandied about by scientific types, trying to look smart. I had read up a bit on “quantum physics”, but didn’t really understand it. The science part had seemed so cerebral and futuristic that I truly just dismissed it, especially from a practicality standpoint. It seemed 25 years out there, and thus not of much value to my life….
