Turkey tests indigenous long-range anti-ship missile

Turkey’s military tested the Atmaca long-range anti-ship missile in the Black Sea on Thursday. The weapon, produced by Roketsan, has a range of more than 200 kilometers (124 miles). The testing was carried out in the Sinop region of the Black Sea, about 600 kilometers east of Istanbul. The domestically produced missile will put fear into Turkey’s enemies, Navy Commander Admiral Adnan Özbal said after observing the test firing, according to the television channel.
