1% only of GOP voters would back Cheney in 2024 White House bid

A new poll from Morning Consult shows just 1% of Republican voters would back U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) if she threw her hat in the ring in the 2024 GOP presidential primary. The survey was taken just days after House Republicans voted to oust Cheney from her role in caucus leadership as she continues to clash with former President Donald Trump. Cheney was among just a handful of GOP members of the House to vote in favor of impeaching Trump following the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, and she’s vowed to oppose him if he makes another bid for the Oval Office….
