Afghanistan: The Shahr-e-Kona area in Baghlan province is under Taliban Full Control

Last night, the Shahr-e-Kona area in Baghlan province came under full Taliban control. Local authorities also confirmed that it was captured by the militants without any resistance and that government forces retreated tactically.  Pro-government sources also reported clashes in Shahr-i-Kona and Cheshma-i-Sher, stating that five Taliban militants, including the head of the district, Qari Majid, and warlord Qari Yasir, had been killed.
