Yemen: Saleh al-Samil al-Bahali, one of the most dangerous leaders of al-Qaeda died Wednesday

Saleh al-Samil al-Bahali, emir of al-Qaeda , who controlled the Al-Mahfad district in Yemen’s Abyan province, died Wednesday afternoon in a serious traffic accident in the Ma’an area.   The accident also resulted in the death of Nasser Lakra Al-Bahli and the injury of another AQAP member. Al-Samil was considered one of the most dangerous leaders of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, who conducted many operations, especially against security forces in several southern provinces of Yemen.     Source: Intel    …
