The Russian-Uzbek-Tajik Trilateral Exercise Ends Today

Central Military District Commander Colonel-General Alexander Lapin announced that the trilateral exercise at the Harb-Maidon training area in Uzbekistan 20 km from Afghanistan finished today. Russian and Tajik Mi-24 and Mi-8 helos struck more than 100 targets Russian-Uzbek-Tajik exercise with Tajik L-39 aircraft, Mi-24 and Mi-8 helos, BTR-82, BMP-2, and T-72. The scenario involved terrorists who crossed the border from Afghanistan into Tajikistan.
