Lebanon’s Hezbollah Says Iranian Fuel Oil to Arrive Thursday

“Iranian fuel reached destination, will reach Lebanon in days,” Nasrallah said Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Monday that the first Iranian fuel shipment has reached the Banyas Port in Syria, and will be transported by land to Lebanon this week. Nasrallah had announced last month that he had organized purchases of fuel from Iran, Hezbollah’s main backer but subject to U.S. economic sanctions, to ease a crippling shortage.
