U.S. forces in the cover of darkness took out the leader of the ISIS terrorist group in Syria on Feb. 2, Joe Biden announced Thursday.

Biden announced that a U.S. special forces raid was conducted in northwestern Syria on early Thursday, which killed the top leader of the Islamic State group.
