Russian Parliamentary Commission on Biolabs to Look Into Origin of MonkeyPox, Says Lawmaker

The parliamentary commission investigating the activities of biological laboratories in Ukraine will hold a session to consider the origin and ways of transmission of monkeypox after the Russian Defense Ministry’s report on this subject, Konstantin Kosachev, Federation Council Deputy Speaker and co-chairman of the commission, said Saturday. “Of course, the Defense Ministry’s data on the possible origin and sources of the current spread of MonkeyPox, as in other cases, is very informative and deserves overwhelming attention.
