Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Iran on Sunday, heading a high-profile political and economic delegation, the IRNA news agency reported. The Kazakh President will be accorded an official reception ceremony by Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi in Saadabad Palace in northern Tehran later today. He will hold high-level meetings and sign a number of documents with President Raisi, the agency said. The current visit is Tokayev’s first visit in Iran since he took office in 2019.
