[UPDATE Jun 26-16:30Z] Wagner PMC Prigozhin Vows to ‘Go to the End’ to Topple Putin in Military Coup

Russian generals have accused Yevgeny V. Prigozhin, a Wagner mercenary leader who had contracted with the Russian government, of attempting to stage a coup against President Vladimir Putin.

Wagner’s chief, in the meantime, has vowed to ‘go to the end’ to topple the Kremlin and oust its top brass, according to surfacing reports.

“This is a stab in the back of the country and the president,” Gen. Vladimir Alekseyev, the deputy head of Russia’s military intelligence agency, said in a video appeal to Prigozhin’s fighters, urging them to call off any rebellion. “This is a coup.”

Stop the columns, and return them to their permanent positions and places of concentration. To solve all problems with civil means only under the leadership of the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces.“

He is being slowly joined by other high-ranking commanders of the Russian army in similar videos.

There is a significant amount of military equipment including many Tanks, BTRs, Helicopters, and Armored Vehicles in the Russian City of Rostov
Both the Russian National Guard and Wagner troops are in the city, the situation is causing both confusion and uncertainty in the city.
