Turkish’s Erdogan Holds Emergency Meeting Over Reports of Coup

The Turkish authorities have taken the recent reports of an impending coup d’etat in the country very seriously. According to the Turkish publication Turkey, President Recep Erdogan even convened an emergency meeting on this matter, which was attended by the head of Turkish intelligence, Ibrahim Kalin, and Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc. The reason for this was a warning from the leader of the Turkish Nationalist Party (MPR), Devlet Bahçeli, about a conspiracy being prepared among law enforcement agencies, writes Türkiye.
