[UPDATE-Jan 2] Louisiana Terror Attack – FBI Confirms Death of Hit-and-Run Driver in New Orleans

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed the death of a hit-and-run driver in New Orleans (Louisiana), who rammed his vehicle into a crowd.

In the morning, a man steered a vehicle into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The attacker offered resistance to police. He is dead. The FBI is working with partners to look into the details of this terrorist attack, NBC News quotes the FBI as saying. Earlier it was reported that after stopping the car the attacker opened fire on police.

 

“The Mayor of New Orleans says the incident on Bourbon Street was an act of terrorism.”
