[UPDATE-Nov 22] US Peace Plan Overview, Ukrainian Army Cuts, ‘Difficult Concessions’

Washington is working on proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine,

taking into account the positions of both Moscow and Kiev, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday.

The US plan envisages territorial concessions by Ukraine and a reduction of the Ukrainian armed forces, sources familiar with the draft say.

Amid the activation of the negotiation track, Donald Trump appointed a new special envoy to Ukraine, replacing Keith Kellogg, the new envoy is U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll. The press immediately focused on the fact that Driscoll is a friend and classmate of Vice President J.D. Vance.
