βI’ve been fighting communism by teaching capitalism,β says Robert Kiyosaki, holding up a copy of Karl Marxβs βCommunist Manifestoβ and a copy of his book βThe Capitalist Manifesto.β
Robert Kiyosaki became famous as the author of βRich Dad Poor Dad,β a book that has sold 48 million copies worldwide since it was published in 1997.
Kiyosaki maintains that in todayβs America, plagued by high inflation and a crumbling dollar, rich dads are getting ever richer while poor dads are getting poorer:
βFood gets up in price, but the poor, middle class have to pay for it. So my apartment houses go up, but the poor middle class go homeless. And that’s the seed of communism, thatβs the seed of revolt,β he says.
In this episode, we dive into what he sees as the roots of Americaβs economic woes and what young people can do in todayβs economy to build wealth and prosperity.
