  • Regional officials told the Washington Post that foreign ministers from several Middle Eastern countries and Jared Kushner could attend the Iran-US talks in Istanbul, if the meeting goes ahead.
  • US envoy Steve Witkoff and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi could meet in Turkey, with talks set to focus on diplomacy to ease tensions, Iranian and Western and Turkish officials told Reuters.
  • Iran summoned European ambassadors in Tehran over the EU designation of the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group and said it was weighing further steps on Monday.
  • Iran is weighing the “process and framework” for possible talks with the US via regional intermediaries, foreign ministry spokesman said on Monday.
  • Iran’s Supreme Leader said if the US launches a war, it would not stay confined to Iran and would likely escalate into a broader regional conflict. Trump responded by saying “we’ll find out” whether Khamenei was right if no deal is reached with Iran.
