When systems like this connect with global institutions, the impact does not stay contained.
It shapes norms, weakens accountability, and blurs the line between ethical and unthinkable.
“Killed to Order” shows how far it reaches.
Order below:🧵
In China, the CCP has turned human beings into spare parts—and the world has largely watched on silently.
Prisoners of conscience have been used as the primary source of China’s burgeoning transplant industry.
Transplants are scheduled in advance, with wait times measured in weeks or even days—instead of months or years.
That only works if there are living people being held and matched in advance.
Prisoners of conscience have been systematically blood-typed and tissue-typed, and killed to order to supply China’s burgeoning and highly lucrative transplant industry.
And the most alarming thing is that in some ways, the CCP has made the West complicit in these crimes. We train many of China’s transplant surgeons. We have partnerships and collaborations with transplant centers in China. We supply a lot of the drugs, devices, and technology needed for transplants.
Every collaboration weakens our ability to condemn the CCP while normalizing these unthinkable atrocities.
In my new book, “Killed to Order,” I break down how it all works.
