By Senior Hamas security officials eliminated in Gaza The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) struck senior members of Hamas’ General Security Apparatus in northern Gaza overnight. The General Security Apparatus is a central clandestine body responsible for securing senior Hamas officials, maintaining communications between them, coordinating meetings, facilitating movement between emergency facilities, and producing intelligence assessments that support Hamas leadership decision-making and terrorist operations.
