• Trump said the United States was getting along very well with Iran and that recent meetings in Qatar had gone well, adding that Iran’s denuclearization was progressing well.
• Two senior Iranian sources told Reuters that Tehran sought international recognition of its control over the Strait of Hormuz, including the right to charge ships, and was prepared to use force if needed.
• Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned Israel on Wednesday against threatening Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he was “marked for death.”
