[US-Israel, Iran War Day #132] US Launches New Strikes on Iran Over Hormuz Attacks

In Brief…

• Six explosions were heard in Bushehr and nearby Choghadak in Bushehr province, while three blasts were reported in Konarak in Sistan and Baluchestan province, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported Thursday.
• Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Thursday the military was “alert and prepared for the resumption of the campaign” in Iran and ready to carry out “blue-and-white” (independent Israeli) strikes there “even for a third time.”
• US Central Command says American forces have begun additional strikes against Iran. “The United States is holding Iran accountable for recent unjustified aggression against commercial shipping,” CENTCOM said in a post on X.
• Explosions were heard Wednesday in Bandar Abbas and Sirik in southern Iran as air defenses engaged what was described as “hostile targets” near Bandar Abbas, a major port city in Hormozgan province, Iran’s Mehr news agency reported. Mehr also reported an explosion near Konarak and Chabahar in southeastern Iran.
• The United States has accused Iran of violating the MoU aimed at ending the conflict, with President Donald Trump saying the deal was “over” and that Washington would “probably” carry out more strikes on Iran.
