• The European Union imposed new sanctions on five Iranian judges and a leading cyber-group figure over serious human rights violations.
• Separate strikes were also reported on Friday near Piranshahr in northwestern Iran and on an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps naval base at Zibakenar on the Caspian Sea coast, after US Central Command said overnight attacks had concluded.
• Explosions were reported Friday local time in Khondab, Khorramabad, Taft, Shirkuh, Anarak, Borujerd and Konarak, according to Iranian state media.
• US President Donald Trump said Thursday in a post on Truth Social that Iranian money held and controlled by the United States would be used to pay for damage to ships, cargo and related assets.
• Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said Thursday Persian Gulf states and Jordan must formally deny a CENTCOM claim that they assisted US military operations against Iran.
