• Iran’s demands for reopening the Strait of Hormuz have been conveyed to the United States through intermediaries, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday, according to state news agency IRNA.
• Iran’s current strategy remains “resistance forever, without end” until its adversaries are defeated, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards spokesperson said on Sunday, adding that Iran will maintain its hold over the Strait of Hormuz until adversaries accept all of its conditions.
• The commander of the IRGC’s Mohammad Rasulullah Corps in Tehran, Hassanzadeh, said on Saturday the United States and Israel “completely failed” to achieve their objectives against Iran, ISNA reported.
• The UAE said an Iranian missile targeted an ADNOC vessel transiting the Strait of Hormuz early Saturday, causing no injuries, and called on Tehran to halt attacks and reopen the strait “fully and unconditionally.”
• US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said a 30- to 60-day ceasefire with Iran could come within days, potentially reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lowering energy prices.
