Hormuz shipping traffic falls to one-week low Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz fell to a one-week low on Tuesday as shipowners avoided the key waterway amid continued regional hostilities, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing shipping data. Kpler tracked eight vessels in the strait, down from a 10-day average of about 12 and the lowest daily count since August 5. Seven vessels entered the strait, all using the route along Iran’s coast. Only one vessel, a coal carrier, exited, while the others remained in transit. Separate LSEG data recorded 11 transits on Tuesday, down from 14 a day earlier….
