• CENTCOM said US forces had rerouted 82 commercial vessels under Washington’s maritime blockade of Iran as of August 28, disabled three vessels and boarded two.
• Reuters reported Iran’s foreign trade has fallen about 35% under US sanctions and the maritime blockade, while annual inflation reached 66% last month.
