- Iran said it conveyed its conditions to the US through a Qatari mediator in New York, including an end to the war on all fronts, the naval blockade and economic warfare, as well as the release of Iranian assets.
- US special envoy Steve Witkoff said US and Iranian delegations held lengthy indirect talks at the UN, with mediators shuttling between the two sides throughout the day. He said the round was completed and expressed hope it would prove “constructive and promising.”
- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in New York on Tuesday for the UN General Assembly.
