Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Gal Hirsch meet with Hostage families

Defense Minister Gallant to the families of the kidnapped soldiers: “The military operation in Gaza will not end until the abductees are returned“

As every week, Defense Minister Yoav Galant met this evening with the families of soldiers held captive by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, together with IDF coordinator Gal Hirsch, the Defense Minister’s adviser on the issue of IDF Major General Lior Lotan and representatives of the IDF. The Minister of Defense explained to the families the operational and intelligence efforts being made for their return, and the various complexities regarding obtaining an outline for the release of abductees.

Minister Gallant answered the families’ questions, and emphasized that the continuation of the fighting will increase the pressure on Hamas, and will help achieve another outline for the release of abductees. The Defense Minister said that the military operation in Gaza will not end until the abductees are returned.
