The Turkish authorities have taken the recent reports of an impending coup d’etat in the country very seriously. According to the Turkish publication Turkey, President Recep Erdogan even convened an emergency meeting on this matter, which was attended by the head of Turkish intelligence, Ibrahim Kalin, and Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc.
