  • Oman said its foreign minister met separately with Iranian and US delegations in Muscat as it mediated indirect talks on Iran’s nuclear file.
  • The presence of Admiral Brad Cooper in the US delegation could jeopardize nuclear talks between Iran and the United States in Oman, an Iranian diplomatic source told Reuters.
  • Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said the Khorramshahr-4 missile was deployed to signal that Tehran would not give up its military strength as it entered talks with the United States.
  • The US State Department on Thursday once again urged American nationals to immediately leave Iran or find a secure location within their residence or another safe building if they cannot leave the country.
  • Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has left Tehran for Muscat ahead of Friday’s “nuclear negotiations” with the United States, foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said in a post on X.
  • The New York Times reported that Iran and the United States made mutual concessions to set up Friday talks in Oman that would focus on Iran’s nuclear program while also covering missiles and militant groups.
