New Meeting of ‘Coalition of Willing’ to Take Place on Monday August 24

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format. This was reported by Le Figaro citing a statement from the Élysée Palace.

Leaders of several countries participating in the so-called “Coalition of the Willing” will hold talks on Monday to discuss further support and strengthening air defense for Ukraine, the Elysee Palace press said.

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and new British Prime Minister Andy Burnham will co-chair the meeting. The event will be held in a “hybrid” format, with some leaders, including Macron himself, joining the discussions by video conference. European Council President Antonio Costa will also travel to Kiev to attend the meeting, according to the AFP news agency.
