Myanmar Coup: Burmese military releases 400 people, including NLD lawmakers

The Burmese military has released about 400 previously apprehended people, including the National League for Democracy (NLD) political party lawmakers, the Kyodo news agency reported Wednesday. According to the report, all released people were ordered to return back to their homes. The report also underscored that the NLD leadership remains under house arrest. Meanwhile, several hundred people hold a rally against the military coup in Myanmar near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
