Myanmar protesters surround party headquarters of detained Aung San Suu Kyi

Anti-coup protesters in Myanmar’s largest city of Yangon surrounded the headquarters of detained leader Aung San Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy (NLD) party on Monday (February 15) amid a noticeable increase of security personnel. While rows of heavily armed soldiers and riot police could be seen behind barricades guarding the NLD building, protesters gathered around surrounding roads, holding placards and chanting.
