Warfighting and Perspective on the future of Cyberspace OPS Since the Gulf War, the U.S. military has followed an operational script that exploits technological advantages to fight and win quickly. It starts with blinding strikes against intelligence and command and control systems. Such attacks leave the enemy unable to organize a coherent defense, giving U.S. forces time to mobilize overwhelming forces and control the scope and pace of fighting.
