Thousands of Gas Stations in the Southeast Report Fuel Outages

The ransomware attack has entered the fifth day, severing almost half of the gasoline and diesel supply for the East Coast. Seventeen states and Washington, D.C., declared emergency declarations to address fuel shortages. The emergency declaration covers Alabama, Arkansas, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
