The first meeting between Erdogan and Joe Biden on the sidelines of the annual NATO summit in Brussels has come to an end. In a nearly two hour meeting, the presidents began with a one on one meeting that only included interpreters before moving into a widened format that included their respective delegations. This meeting is being carefully watched for any signs of a thaw in the relationship between NATO’s two largest militaries after years of tension.
