Nicholas Beauchene, who worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, reportedly admitted that he threw out large batches of mail on three separate dates in September and October of last year. Beauchene has pleaded guilty to a single count of desertion of mails, the Washington Examiner reports, after he was found to have “discarded” some 2,000 pieces of mail, including dozens of ballots, ahead of the 2020 election.
