Despite the Taliban’s capturing more territory in Afghanistan this week, President Joe Biden does not regret withdrawing U.S. troops from the country. “I do not regret my decision,” Biden told reporters in Washington at an unrelated press conference. President Donald Trump triggered the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, where American forces have been stationed since 2001, shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attack.
