Trust in national and local media outlets has dropped to a new low when it comes to Republicans and those who lean to the right, according to a new poll. Just 35 percent of that group said they have a lot or some trust in national news organizations, according to the Pew Research Center poll. That’s down from 70 percent in 2016.
