Afghanistan’s Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Zabihullah Mujahid says the United States has violated the country’s airspace by its drones. He accused Washington of violating all international laws as well as a U.S.-Taliban peace deal signed between the two sides. He said the violations must be corrected and prevented. Mujahid’s statements followed remarks by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby who said the U.S. retains all necessary authorities to execute counter-terrorism operations.
