House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) predicted there will be more Democrat retirements ahead of the 2022 midterm elections—coming after three announced they wouldn’t seek reelection in the past week. “Once you get past Thanksgiving and members go home, and they’re Democrats and they’ve been challenged before and they’re going to get beat up, Congress is not that great,” the House GOP Leader from California told Fox News on Tuesday.
