Putin Holds Meeting With Abbas On Bilateral Cooperation

The presidents of Russia and the Palestinian Authority held talks in Sochi. Putin and Abbas discussed the further development of bilateral cooperation and the situation in the West Asia region, taking into account the efforts undertaken by Russia for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement. And also the ways to strengthen bilateral relations in economic, cultural, and other fields.  The efforts of the Russian side in inter-Palestinian dialog with the aim of achieving reconciliation and ending the split were also touched upon.
