Manchin Announces He Won’t Support Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ Bill

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said Sunday that he will not support Joe Biden’s sweeping social and climate spending package, often dubbed “Build Back Better,” which may imperil the House-passed version of the bill and put the remainder of Biden’s agenda in jeopardy. The Senate left for its Christmas break on Saturday without voting on the measure.
