191 Arrested, 57 Vehicles Towed in Ottawa, Police Continue Operation Against ‘Trucker Freedom Convoy’

Ottawa police said on the morning of Feb. 20 that 191 people have been arrested and 57 vehicles towed as law enforcement continues operations to clear protesters opposed to COVID-19 mandates from the nation’s capital.

Many protesters were pushed back by officers in riot gear with batons and pepper spray on Feb. 19, with demonstrators seen trying to wash the spray out of their eyes.
