President Donald Trump won the 2024 straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference’s (CPAC) in Dallas, which solidifies his status as a favorite to win the Republican presidential nomination. Trump won the CPAC Texas straw poll with 69 percent of the vote, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis with 24 percent of the vote.
