BREAKING NEWS – U.S. Credit Rating Downgraded By Two of Three Credit Agencies AUG 5, 2023 Tuesday night Aug 1st, after the markets closed and in a surprise move, Fitch downgraded the US credit rating to AA+. The downgrade marks the second cut by a major rating agency, and this is huge news.
