Israeli Defense Forces destroy three buildings at Al-Shifa Hospital

Israeli troops have destroyed at least three buildings in the Al-Shifa medical center in the north of the Gaza Strip.

According to sources, Israeli forces won’t allow anyone to leave the medical facility even though they are well aware that there are no militants among those trapped in the hospital, only patients, wounded people and displaced persons. Israeli troops are detaining everyone trying to leave the premises; they are also conducting searches and interrogations.

The Israeli military have provided over 4,000 liters of drinking water and 1,500 ready-to-eat meals to the personnel of the Al-Shifa Hospital in the early hours of Friday.

Meanwhile, IDF reported that the body of a 19-year-old female soldier who had been held hostage by the Palestinian radical movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip since October 7 was found in a building adjacent to Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza.

“The body of IDF soldier Corporal Noa Marciano, who was abducted by the Hamas terrorist organization, was extracted by IDF troops from a structure adjacent to the Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip and was transferred to Israeli territory,” the IDF wrote on its Telegram channel. “Yesterday (Nov. 16th), IDF representatives informed her family that her body was extracted and returned to Israeli territory,” the Israeli army added.
