U.S. Navy Destroyer Repels Attack of Drones, Missiles Launched From Yemen

The U.S. Navy USS Carney destroyer and several commercial ships in the Red Sea were attacked, with the use of missiles and drones launched from Yemeni territory, according to an unnamed Pentagon official. According to the official, the U.S. destroyer responded to a distress signal from a commercial ship. It downed a drone and detected at least one ballistic missile targeting the commercial ship.
