Israeli warplanes attack Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon Israeli fighter jets attacked the city of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, a stronghold of Hezbollah armed units. According to the Al Wataniya agency, the planes fired missiles at a building in the Hai al-Baraqa neighborhood. The building was totally destroyed and damage was done to adjacent houses and cars. Rescuers are working on the site. One man has been retrieved from under the debris alive. Bint Jbeil is located four kilometers from the Lebanese-Israeli border and has a population of some 30,000.
