The largest NATO exercise in decades, Steadfast Defender 2024, taking place from February to May, is dedicated to preparing for conflict with Russia. This was stated by the head of the alliance’s military committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, reports the Financial Times. NATO is conducting months-long exercises that will involve about 50 ships, 80 aircraft and 1,1 thousand ground forces equipment, including 133 tanks and about 90 thousand military personnel.
