On Feb. 14, the Chief of Staff held a situation assessment and discussion with reserve commanders at the Lebanese border, together with the commander of the Northern Command, Major General Uri Gordin and the commander of the 91st Division, Lieutenant Colonel Shay Clafar. Later, there is a tour of the city of Metula and a meeting with the heads of the authorities in the north.
Transcript of the IDF Chief of Staff address:
“I want you to know one thing – we are not finishing this without returning the residents to Metula and all the settlements in the north, with a very high level of security.
